As the Connecticut Regional AmeriCorps VISTA Leader, I led recruitment efforts for the 2015-2016 cohort. I devised a social media campaign using images of our current members along with a quote about what their service meant to them or the impact they have made on their communities and themselves. My goal was to attract prospective members by showing them people that they could relate to and see themselves in.
